Twelve slipped into her quarters quietly, greeted by her cat as she went. Silent as she moved and briefly stooped down enough to allow her cat to jump onto her before she resumed her walk into the room. As she walked and her cat snuggled in around her neck, a mental impulse banished sound as her implants scaled back their input to nil. A gift granted to her by the cooperative, silence at the end of long days.
It'd been a long day, especially with the blackout and what had followed before it. In the morning she'd cleared up the mess once released from the medical bay and had then departed off to do stuff. Now in some free time snatched during the day, she'd returned to rest. To rest and to meditate, her body in some ways...exhausted. Biological function marred by the inefficient repair processes which while helped along by her nanoprobes and treatment had still left her more exhausted than she have liked. Mentally and physically exhausted, shorn of even the Cooperative to help her through stuff this time.
Her vitals had been sliding before neuroflux, the downward trend followed by her mind with ease, had resolved quite clearly. If she hadn't been treated with this..neuroflux, the lack of implants would have killed her. Not as rapidly on someone whose biological functions relied more heavily on nanoprobes than she did. But she relied on her implants enough. Things would have failed. Had been on their way to failing. That and she'd already been suffering symptoms of things.
In a way, that had shaken her a bit, she realized. To suddenly start to deteriorate, to have no control over her hearing. It'd unnerved her as much if not more than the odd dreams had. Dreams..she'd never really dreamed..like that.
She eyed her alcove then. "Computer, run a level 4 diagnostic on my Alcove" When it returned that all was functioning within acceptable parameters she frowned at the message on her PADD. Alcove functioning within normal parameters (edited)
